I’m Dan: an English teacher and writer living in London, England.
I love teaching English – everything from the basics to Shakespeare! I have a 120-hour TEFL qualification, and I’ve taught over 2000 hours of lessons to date. I’ve written for various newspapers and magazines in the UK, and I’ve written 4 books. Over my career I’ve also given lectures on business English, and I have one year of in-classroom experience teaching English to refugees.
To help my students begin using new words and phrases as soon as possible, I believe in teaching language that is fun and functional. I aim to give students more confidence in their speaking and listening, and I encourage them to enjoy the process with a lot of laughs.
